Make ANY rowing machine fun!

Whether you have a fancy Concept2 or a less fancy Acme Rower, RowPal aims to make indoor rowing fun and habit-forming.

Three RowPal screens: a finished one-minute row with distance, pace and heart rate; a live row with a rower on the water showing 20 strokes per minute and a 2:47 split; and a heart rate zone breakdown.

How it works

With a Concept2

RowPal pairs with the PM5 over Bluetooth and reads every stroke, split, and metre. And it syncs with your logbook too.

Or with anything else

RowPal uses the front camera to capture your strokes. Add an Apple Watch for even more accuracy.

Don’t row alone

FAQs

Do I need a Concept2?

No. If you have one, RowPal pairs with the PM5 over Bluetooth and pushes your rows straight to your Concept2 Logbook. If you don’t, the front camera counts your strokes instead, and that works on any rowing machine.

Does the camera record me?

No. It watches your strokes to work out your rate, and that is all it does.

How much does it cost?

It’s free. You pay in sweat and pain. We think that’s enough. Some future “special” features may come with a small price tag, but what exists today will always be free.

Is there an Android version?

Not right now. RowPal is iPhone only.

Does it require an account?

No RowPal account required. If you have a Concept2 and want to save to your logbook, a Concept2 account will be needed.
